The 2022 Siwa Shiraz is handpicked from our old Shiraz vines, which you can see from the cellar door. Planted in 1975, these vines consistently produce our premier Shiraz fruit. This block is known for its classic varietal character - plum, raspberry and lifted pepper spice - while still showing great balance, freshness and drinkability rather than being overly heavy or overripe.

It’s a wine that sits comfortably between power and elegance. It was matured in 25% new French oak for nine months prior to bottling.

On the palate, it’s long and generous, with dark berry flavours layered with white pepper, anise and cedar spice, along with subtle toasty oak. The tannins are ripe, smooth and rounded, giving the wine a soft, balanced finish.
