Our Cellar Door & Kitchen is in beautiful Wonga Park at the entry to the Yarra Valley, just fifty minutes away from Melbourne CBD. Nestled amongst our vineyards and gardens, you’ll love the views as much as our wines, ciders, apple brandy, platters, and monthly live music. Warm yourself by the open fire in the cooler weather!

We are open 11am – 5pm Friday to Sunday and most public holidays.  Closed New Year's Day. Open Mondays during January.

We offer seated tastings, share platters and drinks, picnics in the gardens, and can cater to group bookings and private functions.

Dogs are welcome in some outdoor areas of the venue - bookings recommended.

Cellar Door Tastings

Embark on a seated tasting experience guided by our Cellar Door tasting team. All wines and cider products are made onsite at Kellybrook. Bookings are highly recommended.

Wine Tasting

Select your preferred wines from our extensive Tasting List. Tasting fee is $15 for 5 wines ~ redeemable on take away purchase of 2 bottles.

Cider and Apple Brandy Tasting

  • Kellybrook Méthode Traditionnelle Cider and Kelly Brothers Ciders are available for tasting. The fee is $10 for 4 ciders.
  • Kellybrook Apple Brandy tasting fee is $5.

Group Wine Tastings

Organising a day out for a group of 10 – 25? Group wine tastings are available at 11:00am or 11:30am – email us at info@kellybrookwinery.com.au. Afternoon bookings are not accepted for group wine tastings. Bookings are generally for 1 hour but may be extended for the group to enjoy share platters afterwards.

Share Platters - Lunch or Grazing

Our Cellar Door kitchen offers a Share Platter Menu that is perfect for lunch, for afternoon grazing or a small bite to enjoy alongside our wines and ciders. Available for up to 10 people.

Featured on our generous boards are local cheeses, charcuterie (sliced cold meats), dips and an extensive selection of accompaniments to suit all tastes and appetites. We also serve hot baked cheese.

Kitchen open 11:00am – 4:00pm Friday to Sunday and most public holidays. 

Please note we do not have an à la carte menu or individual meals.

Pet friendly area available (outdoor) - bookings highly recommended

Pet Friendly Area

Keen to bring your dog to Kellybrook? We have a pet friendly outdoor area that is adjacent to our cellar door deck and surrounded by garden. It is perfect for small groups (up to 4 people) with one or two dogs.

We have two barrels with stools and umbrellas - these may be booked online. We also have two small tables that can be only be booked directly - please phone or email. These spots are all weather dependent.

Space is limited, so we highly recommend booking if you plan on coming with your pooch. 

Platters, self-guided tastings (paddles) and drinks are available in this area - please order at the counter inside.

Dogs must be kept on lead at all times.

Our main gardens, which include our magnificent oak tree, are unfortunately, not open to dogs (we have resident cats who would be very upset if we allowed this).

Picnics

Soak up the glorious outdoors with a picnic in our beautiful gardens. Collect your tailored picnic basket and drinks, then find a spot on the lawn or under our magnificent 130-year-old oak tree. Available for small groups only (up to 9 people). 

Ball games, pets, BYO food and drink are not permitted.

Picnics may be pre-ordered by email or on arrival at the cellar door. Drinks may be purchased from the cellar door on arrival. No bookings required.

Midweek Vineyard Platter and Wine

Weekdays only

Visit our cellar door and enjoy a generous share platter of Yarra Valley cheeses, charcuterie and dip accompanied by quince and fig jam, pickles, olives and crackers. Perfect for lunch or afternoon grazing.

Includes one glass of Kellybrook Edenesque wine or other drink of your choice (beer, cider or non-alc drink). 

Price: $42 per person

Conditions apply: Available on weekdays only (not including public holidays), minimum of 2 people required, maximum of 8 people, booking required, offer includes one glass of Edenesque wine (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon), cider, beer or non-alcoholic drink. Offer ends 28.03.2025.

Group Bookings on Cellar Door Days

Planning a special celebration or gathering? Groups of 10 to 25 people are treated to our Share Platter Feast served in a memorable setting under our magnificent oak tree or on our heated cellar door verandah. Available Friday to Sunday and most public holidays.  Prices available to download below.

Private Functions

If you're looking for a beautiful setting for your private function, look no further than Kellybrook. We can host from 15 to 80 guests for an intimate function with a personal touch. Perfect for weddings, wedding anniversaries, corporate events and celebrations of life. 

We have midweek availability including at short notice (Tuesday to Friday) and limited availability on weekends. 

Minimum spends of $4,000 - $10,000 apply, depending on the month and the day of the week. A tailored quote will be provided.

Should I make a booking?
Bookings are highly recommended as we run to strict capacities. However, we will do our best to accommodate you if we have space to do so. If you’re a last-minute plans kind of person, please call ahead to check we have space or pop a booking in online.
How do I book a table?

What food do you offer?
We have a selection of platters featuring local cheeses, charcuterie, dips and a wide selection of accompaniments available to suit all appetites and tastes. We have generous serves to ensure we feed you well, however we don’t offer individual meals or a children's menu (but plenty of kid-friendly items on the share platters). We currently serve hot baked cheese and specials such as Spanish meatballs.
How do your tastings work?
We will seat you and run you through either a wine or cider tasting of your choice. Generally, tastings last for up to 45 minutes (or less if you’re in a hurry).
What does the tasting fee include?
The $15 allows you to taste a selection of 5 wines of your choice. Please note the $15 is redeemable upon the purchase of two takeaway bottles. The cider tasting fee varies depending on the number of ciders available for tasting at the time (generally $7.50 for 3 ciders).
Do you have a restaurant?
While we don’t have a restaurant, we do offer table service for our extensive platter menu from our kitchen. Our cellar door has a similar ambience to a restaurant but we do not have a la carte menu or individual meals.
Can I visit for a picnic?
Yes, you can. However, all food and beverages must be purchased from Kellybrook. We have a picnic list available for you to order from. Picnics must be pre-ordered on busy days ie Mother's Day and Easter
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, there is a designated area where we allow dogs. Please make sure your dog is friendly as it is a small outside area. Dogs are not allowed inside the cellar door, on the deck or in our main garden area (oak tree and fountain area).We highly recommend booking or contacting us if you would like to bring your dog.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, our menu is adaptable to suit most dietary requirements. Please advise us of any dietary requirements before arriving or call us to discuss further.
What size group booking can you accommodate for food and drink?
We can accommodate groups of 10-25 people for share platters and drinks under our oak tree or on our covered verandah. For pricing and details, go to the Group Booking section. Available on cellar door days only (Friday - Sunday and most public holidays).
Do you offer wine tasting experiences for private groups?
We offer wine tastings for private groups of up to 30 people. These are available in the morning only - 11am or 11:30am bookings. The cost is $15 per person and includes five wines. For a premium tasting experience, we can work with you to accommodate your request, please get in touch with us.
Do you open for dinner?
No, apart from special events.
Do you do private functions at Kellybrook?
Subject to availability, we can cater for private functions. Please contact us directly to discuss your request.
Can we bring our kids?
Yes, we’re kid friendly. We do not have a children’s menu, but most of the items on the share platter menu are loved by all kids! Children must be supervised at all times while at Kellybrook to ensure they are safe, and that they are not disturbing other customers or damaging the garden in any way.
Do you cater to drivers?
Yes, we have plenty of non-alcoholic options for all.
Can I walk around the vineyard?
Our vineyards are off limits. Phylloxera is a significant risk that could spread diseases amongst our vines. However, you can walk along the road beside the vineyard (you can even take your dog on a walk in our local area).
What else is there to do in the area?
There are plenty of walking trails nearby - have a look at the Parks Victoria website. Mount Lofty is a 3 minute drive from us and offers walks by the Yarra River on wide gravel pathways (no dogs permitted). Jumping Creek Reserve has narrow track walking trails (good footwear and reasonable fitness required). Warrandyte is close by and has several cafes, restaurants (we recommend Ember), shops, a pub and river walks (it does get quite busy on weekends). Other places of interest in the area are: Warran Glen Nursery (8 min), Alowyn Gardens (25 min), other Yarra Valley wineries (5-40 min), Yarra Valley Chocolaterie (25 min), Healesville Sanctuary (35 min), Blue Lotus Water Garden (45 min) and the Dandenong Ranges (30 min).
